Mindful Musical Storytime for Every Heart
A little music, a little story, and a quiet moment of connection—because peace is something we carry together.
About Us
Mindful Musical Storytimefor Every Heart is a touring ensemble that creates original, theater-style performances blending instrumental music, vocal pieces, and spoken narrative around a central theme. In our current season, we focus on two themes—Peace and Memory—with the mission of reaching underserved communities, particularly those affected by memory loss, loneliness, and chronic stress. Through intimate, accessible performances, we seek to offer moments of emotional resonance, cognitive engagement, and human connection to those who need it most.
Our Performers
Our performers are K-12 children, supported every step of the way by their families and instructors. They dedicate themselves not only to mastering their instruments and voices, but also to learning something even more important: how to listen, how to respect one another, and how to share their talents without fear of judgment. In our ensemble, every child belongs—and that sense of belonging is what they carry into every community they visit.
Our Audience
We play for everyone, and we connect with every heart.
While we especially hope to reach people who may experience physical or emotional isolation, our music and stories are created to be accessible and meaningful to everyone.
Who doesn’t welcome a moment of rest—a space to simply lissten, breathe, and be present without worry? Who can resist the simple beauty of music and art created with joy by children?
We believe music has a unique way of reaching people. It can awaken a memory, bring comfort, inspire a smile, or create a feeling of connection—often without needing words.
Our audience is everyone. Our music is for every heart.
Our Ensemble
Total Members: Approximately 10
Narrators:1–2
Instrument Performers: 6–8
Singers: 0–1
Performance Frequency
Each performing group tours 4–6 times per year.
Our Music
Our pieces are carefully chosen by our music advisors based on the theme of each event. Selections are made with close attention to:
Composition and historical background
Musical style and tempo
Emotional expression and narrative fit
Suitability for arrangement and performance by our ensemble
Each piece is then tailored and assigned to performers whose instrument type and skill level best suit the work, ensuring both artistic quality and a positive learning experience for every child.
Rehearsal Process
Each performance is supported by 1–3 group rehearsals prior to the event.
Instrument Performers are expected to practice their pieces individually beforehand, arriving at rehearsals with a steady tempo and mature playing technique.
Narrators are expected to prepare their scripts in advance, with clear articulation and familiarity with the story flow.
This structure allows our limited rehearsal time to be used efficiently for ensemble coordination, emotional shaping, and final polishing—rather than basic note-learning.
Our Mission in Brief
Music tells stories. Stories connect hearts.
We believe that every child has a gift to share, and every community has a story worth hearing. Through Mindful Musical Storytime for Every Heart, we build bridges—between generations, between performers and audiences, and between music and memory.
